    Has anyone done this yet? Its pretty damn dark in that area at night.

    I checked both your setups. It looks good. I want to try and get the light in the storage area though.

    The storage area directly in front of the cup holders? With the blue LED's on it provides ample ambient light to see in there, if I really want to see whats going on I just flip it over to the white LED. :cool:

    I plan on installing some LED's in my center console and glove box though. Going to tackle that when I also install LED strip's under the bed rails for lighting.

    Ahhhhh! We're working on a design for this very thing! Dang it! I hope we can bring it to market SOON!!!

    I'll say this: 2 batteries, 2 LEDs, 1 resistor, 1 reed switch, and a magnetic mounting plate. :eek:

    It's in the works now... Stay tuned. :) IF it happens, it'll be a 'naked' light - pretty much just a bare bones circuit board for those that like to see how things work, like me!

    Hey fyre, if you're a DIYer you could buy small LEDs and insert them into the storage area. I'm on my iPad but if you look at my build you'll see what I'm talking about
