    Your lucky.

I've yet to drop my truck off at this dealer and not have an issue afterwards.

Needless to say, not going back there ever again.

yep. the one thats less than 10 min a way. my parents have been going to for a long time. likes 14 or 15+ years.

edit: also toyota of knoxville is great. thats the one that farther away and where i got my truck. sells guy knows his stuff. all he sells is tacoma’s, FJC’s, tundras and 4 runners. i had found TW a few months before i got my truck. so when we went and looked at it, i kinda new what to look out for and how to tell if sells man was lying about anything.

    any updates on your truck?

Big Two has a nice dealership but they have some tards working there. I had to take my truck back three times after they "fixed" the left rear door lock the first time. I guess they couldn't figure out which door was the left rear. When they FINALLY got the right door, they scratched the window tint when removing the inside panel... so yea they SUCK!!

Actually yes. Since the oil my truck has had weird issu3s that all started when I got it back. Idols funny, breaks suck, loads of small things. They are having a tech from Toyota hq to look at my truck as the techs at big two are Fucking idiots. waiting on a date of when that will happen.

You should bring it to Camelback, even though it is far I think they do pretty good work and have a nice facility.

Had my first oil change and tires rotation last week. When I got home I saw 7 quarts of 5w-20 oil listed on the receipt. I came back asking them why did it need 7 quarts. The lead sa said it needs 6.6 quarts but they always charge whole quart. I told then hell no it only needs 5.5 . He argues but then shut up when I ask show me the manuals.

I made them manually checked the oil stick to make sure they don't overfilled. It is ok. He then said they just over billed on the invoice. That's scam for me.

Hose went to the intake and I'm wondering why the hell they pulled it off.

I do all my own work on everything else I own, but I said "wouldn't it be nice not to have to worry about this minor BS for 8 years"..

Fuck me in the goat ass I was wrong.

that happens to me just once.. left the damn container in the engine.. yupm funny smell and seen this damn thing.. I went straight to the head service mgt. I chewed her ass out. so gotten a free oil change. Ever since I do my own. This was back in 1997. so now I am very leary of them for my 2012. I always marked the filter before going in and check it before I rolling off the dealer lot.

Me too always. Twice I have found spilled oil on my engine and I raise hell about it. I don't expect this kind of low quality work from the dealer. Dreaming I know

My dealer had changed my wife oil in her 4 runner, she called me and said her hood looked high. When she got home I checked it and found the FUNNEL still in fill hole. Now i do my on oil changes and repairs.

This happened on my first dealer oil change. Driving away I noticed it right away because the water bottle in there was making a whistling noise. It's just a shortcut instead of running a hose down to drain pan when changing oil filter. Mechanics get paid for the time it would take to do a job. They are in a hurry to make more money. I got a free oil change. No yelling or anything, I just brought it back, showed it to whoever. They said, "Sorry about that. Your next oil change is free." I said, "Thanks!".
