I has 2 skewpz between the grill and the headlights. Teh bugshield does not interfere with them at all.

To actually provide some useful info to the OP, the bug shield won't affect your awesome ornamental hood scoop (those who don't have them are still envious), but I have read a few posts around here that suggest some of the bug shields do tend to strip paint after a while, so you may want to look into that if you're thinking about buying.

OEM bugshields will not strip paint if you put a piece of bicycle tube between the clip and the hood.....more usefulness, lol.

What about if you got a ratchet socket in your eye socket? you would have a socket in your socket, right?

I have the fancy 3M paint protecting stickers on my taco, but I will try to find one that doesn't come in contact with the paint.

With 13 bikes around the house there are always a tube or 2 that aren't getting patched so why spend the money? Still rather have a strip of inner tube even if the tape was free but still better than what it came with originally tho. If it was already laying around the house then it'd get some play but wasn't.
