Been wanting to get one that matches my "red" theme color in my truck. The Auto's are pretty damn expensive and haven't found a deal on one in over 6 months of looking.

Anyone know of a way to mod this shifter to work with the auto (2009) shifter lever? I know the internal sizing is probably different huh?

Edit: Can anyone confirm this thread size on an 09 Auto shifter?
"The threads on the auto shifter are 8mm X 1.25 on the 2008"

Here's the details of the one for sale:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-JDM-TRD...Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e73b708d4&vxp=mtr

Shift knob hole about 1.5cm, no need use any tools (ex: screws), just insert it.
    Tks for any info,

    T-

Hey thanks for the research. Wasn't sure if there were adapters out there or not but we're started down the right path. I'll dig a little deeper and see if I can find some kind of similar adapter.

Thread sounds about right, but in looking at that eBay listing, I'd stay away.

The knob itself looks nice, but the TRD badge looks like a cheap sticker that's going to move around and fall off after a few months.

Yea in retrospect I agree Rich. I ended deciding against that ebay one for the same reason not to mention the sizing is a little off.

    The search continues............
