Has any one installed a power antenna on an 07 Tacoma? If so is there any plug in or must power come from radio removal.......? Thanks

That would be a pretty custom job. Mounting it would require some modding, and some electrical work would be in order too.

I have done it on an old muscle car. It was easy. You can buy them almost anywhere. The one that I installed mounted in the original hole. It took power from the radio. When you turned on the radio the antenna would go up, then down when power went off.

The secret is that radios use dual positive wires. One positive to run the radio when it is turned on and one positive to keep all of your preset stations and clock memory when it is turned off.

The one I bought came with instructions and installation went smooth. The only thing to watch out for is you need about 8" of room below the antenna hole for the motor.
