Got the TSB done. Truck accelerates perfectly smoothly now, zero vibrations. Gained about 1" lift out back. Overall very relieved! So much more enjoyable to drive.

interesting that they measured and ordered leafs before installing the new tranny mount; maybe found a shortcut in the process? or ordered all the leafs and sent back the ones that they didn't need.

Got mine done this past weekend. I'd say it's 90% better.

Zero vibrations on acceleration which is great, I can actually get on the gas now without the whole rear end shaking.

I'm now feeling slight vibrations between 15-20 under deceleration or light braking, seems like I can feel it a little more when turning at that speed.

Overall I think i'm happy with it, but the TSB is no cure like the majority of others have said. The dealer also installed a steering dampener which I think was intended to hide these new, less noticeable vibes.

Anyone bring their truck back after the TSB and complain about the new vibes? Did they have a fix for it or just say live with it?

I noticed others have mentioned a transmission drop kit? Is there a way I can check myself and see if it's on there? I didn't see it on the list of parts the installed.

Had mine done several months ago, vibes were pretty much gone. Feeling like I am getting them back slightly. Not at 40 mph like I was before the TSB, but more at 15-20 and during acceleration. Its nothing huge, but still can feel it a bit.

My dealer did the same, ordered all parts at the same time and install in one day as well.

I think the tranny mount is technically called the "engine insulator." Looks like a little Y shaped bracket. Am I wrong on this?

    going to be fun!
I have a 2014 Off Road DC and have noticed this vibration over the past few weeks as I have only 1500 miles on it.

Maybe a visit is due to the dealer again.

I got it done and it has. Even great. Maybe some vibs but am not making it. Huge issue anymore as I am prob getting used to it. Dealer was great and has been helpful since day 1. Will keep eye on it long term. Still will want to lift one day and will prob be back on same boat again

I looked at mine up close yesterday and the dealer did put the new tranny mount (engine insulator) and the shims under the leaf packs. Along with the steering dampener I think I have just about all the "fixes" there are

Right: The TSB first page calls to "R & R Engine Mount' but 5 pages later it's an 'insulator.' See Pic.

Had the springs installed yesterday and the vibs on acceleration seem to be gone. Like others have noted, I'm feeling some vibs on deceleration around 15-20 mph, but it's not bad. Certainly nothing I can't live with.

Truck sits about 1.25 inches higher at the center of the rear wheel well now. Seem to remember reading that others have reported this also. For those of you who had the TSB done a while ago I'd be interested to hear if it has settled back to close to original height or has stayed at the new height.

thats because your 2013 trd off road had a 2+1 leaf pack, and you now have the stiffer 3+1 leaf pack which will always stay a little bit higher.

Anyone get a running vib from 60-65 after the TSB? its been about 3 weeks since I had mine done and I had it on the interstate for the first time yesterday and starting at 60 I get a pulsing rhythmic vibration that can be felt in the gas pedal. If i go up to 70 it lessons and anything below 60 its non existent. If im at 65 cruising and drop to 60 and then get back into the throttle its worse until i level off into a constant cruise again.

I get the same vib now at 57-65 and decellerating 30-20. Took it back to the dealer, they blamed my tires, did an alignment and rotated tires. Still there... have to take it back.

I haven't noticed it at 30-20 on decel, the truck is very smooth take off and cruising until that 57-65. That vibe is very annoying as that's where I need to cruise when on the highway. Let me know what you find out when you take your truck back.

I'm getting the same, haven't brought it back to the dealer yet. The TSB was done about a week ago. Changing my tires tomorrow, maybe that will help but I doubt it. Feels like the transmission mount they put on is sending more vibration through the crossmember and you can feel it through the floor.

Today I had the thought about it possibly being the new trans mount as well, maybe its stiffer? We already know its taller then the old one to help out the drive-line angles. I am also thinking about trying to flip my cb or shimming it down and seeing if that helps any. I hope Toyota sent the Tacoma drivetrain engineers back to school for the upcoming 3rd gens because they cannot seem to get it right.

FYI, new trans mount is SHORTER, to slightly reduce the u joint angle of the joint right out of the trans / tcase

My fault I thought I had read somewhere on here it was taller, thanks for the heads up.
