I LOVE the AEV wheels for JKs!!! I wanted Argent Pintlers SO very badly for my JK but, the backspacing on them wasn't right for me so, I went with a different wheel, here's a pic of myJK (I too am a Rubicon to Tacoma convert! My JK is going bye-bye soon):

I think the Stealth 6 Matte gunmetal wheels look SICK!!! I had not seen them before today when a buddy of mine texted me a pic of them as a suggestion for my Taco! (black access cab 4x4 SR5)

AEV (the maker of those wheels) is a well known V-8 conversion specialist for JKs (amongst many other ventures, including the Brute TJ and the Brute double cab JK) my favorite engine swap they do is 6.4L SRT-8 into JKs!!!

LOL! I'd say Vader. That is my JK's nickname, all black and bought on May the 4th, VADERJKU! I have a little Lego Darth Vader hanging from the rearview mirror!

Another possibility I am strongly looking at is the Konig Countersteer Graphite Gunmetal:
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/wh...e/88562-16x8-konig-countersteer-offroads.html
(sorry about the link rather than a pic, I tried a couple times to do a pic but, it didn't want to work for me)
I think these look about the closest to a Tacoma fitting version of a Pintler, IMO!

I don't really want to go with a black wheel on my black Tacoma, to me a gunmetal wheel looks better, that's just my opinion though.

I am planning on color matching my grill, doing a black grillcraft mesh upper and lower insert, color matching my rear bumper (just got a paintable rear bumper from my wife for Christmas) and most likely debadging (or derping the badges black) for an all black body but want some contrast for my wheels. So, gunmetal seems the way to go for me! The stock silver steel (currently on the truck) are too much contrast for my taste as would be polished or chrome, IMO. I also like the look of the Bronze Konigs but, my wife doesn't and I'm not sure how long I'd stay enamored with the bronze color vs I am sure I will always like the gunmetal.

    A few bolts are different.
Im a fan of a little contrast. My preference is dark grey on a black vehicle.

I think think this is a good way to look at it...its your truck, do to it what you think looks good. I like having something to break up the rims and tires to some degree. I think completely black looks a little off...but again, thats just my opinion...

    Also...an opinion...

I THINK they look good. I personally have not seen them on many trucks in my area. Rockstars on the other hand...EVERYWHERE...and I could agree...don't get them because everyone else has them...

Point is, no matter what you get, no matter what you do, there will always be someone who thinks it looks bad, is played out, or is useless and stupid. As long as you can take it with a grain of salt and move on....

I am also a jeep rubicon convert.

Here are the trd bronze (I thought black wheels would be too much black IMO)

Here are the same wheels except they're black
