    http://www.aev-conversions.com/shop/shop-by-category/wheels/jk-pintler-non-beadlock.html

I'm coming from a Black Rubicon that I put these Argent Pintler AEV wheels on and it looked great. AEV doesn't make wheels for a Tacoma or I'd just put the Pintlers, that I kept from my traded in Rubicon, on the Tacoma . My new Tacoma is also black and I'm going to put a black cab high canopy on it.

My concern, is if I go with black wheels it's going to be to much Black and IMO, to much of one color with no contrast and things just kind of all run together and look flat with no depth.

Does anyone know of a wheel that looks very similar to the AEV Pintler Argent colored wheels?????

I've looked at sooooooo many threads concerning wheels on this forum that my eyes are starting to cross and they're all starting to look the same.

    Opinions and suggestions are welcomed

I have black on black, with a side of black but no pics to make you go black 2 black. it will only look bad if you go chrome, LOL! my personal opinion on the matter doesn't count but I think black trucks should have black rims.

Thank goodness you traded in you jeep! go to discounttire.com and search for wheels then click the link to show them on your truck, that's what I did.

I agree that you get a lil washed out and that is why I think a lot of people get the black with chrome accent, which I had on my black 4runner and had lots of compliments on (moto metal 951)

And I wouldn't necessarily disagree with you but for ME the wheels need something to give a tiny amount of contrast. Maybe a beadlock in brushed or I even saw some black wheels I liked that had these round bolt heads around the outside perimeter of the wheel. Sorta gave it a beadlock look.

Nothing wrong with black, I like black like I like my, uhhhhhh, ummmmmm, coffee, yeah coffee, mmhmmm... ;)

I think my black rims on the MGM look amazing...I would assume black would be pretty close...

I like those Jeep wheels, but on another note, does that Jeep say it has a 5.7L V8?

I like a contrast, OK ? Red or yellow, even green contrasts nice with black.

I believe black on black is a played out fad and most look like a poser for some reason, but this is just my view.

Do what makes you happy is really all that matters.

Also those moto wheels look like the cheapest crap possible, they are all over on peoples trucks and suv's and the only reason I can figure out why is that they are pretty inexpensive. Those and Rockstar wheels, be yourself if you are going to personalize your vehicle not rocking what everyone else has.

Every other day there's a new wheel color that would look good on a black truck but black works just fine for me

i think black trucks should have a different, dull, dark color. like as dark a grey you could get or even something wierd like the fj wheels that everyone likes to put on. . . contrast. dont merc it, make it stand out

I really like how bronze looks on black

Yes, they are. And priced very reasonably. It is great buying from a small company, especially when the owner/designed is building these wheels specificly for toyotas. Talk to vin if you have any questions he is very helpful.

Black wheels if everything is black (including emblems). If you have any accents that aren't black, then match the wheel accents.

    Murdered out is played out.

I would go with something like Mickey Thompson Classic Locks with black rings (which I plan on doing sometime next year).
