    I remember back when I was 18 y/o and I was in the middle of a custom van build (it's what we did back in the 1970/s :D)...

    dad got me a set of high-back swivel captains chairs for my van...

    one of my most memorable Christmas gifts.

    dad had the seats in the garage...told me to go get my present there...I thought for sure it was wheels (I was wanting them too)...but I was suprised as crap to see the van seats.

    funny...but my sister got a set of Cragar SS wheels for her RoadRunner the same year (yeah, we were a car family)...

    we were not even a little bit wealthy...so I know dad worked hard and sacraficed to get us larger than life gifts. almost means more to me now than it did then.

    This is what gets me the most, the fact that he works his ass off and gets stuff for me and the rest of the family, It's one of those things you notice but dont put much thought into(at least i did when i was younger) but now i feel like i have to worker as hard, if not harder than him so i can give back to him and my mom and my future family.
