    intake and exhaust
    i went and played a little in the ol tacoma tonight and i noticed when i got back on the highway that i had somewhat of a jerk/shake in my steering wheel. It doesnt pull so i know its prob not alignment. Could i have knocked a tire outta balance? or what are some of the things that could cause that???

    Lots of things.

    Did you get into mud or snow? both can pack the wheels and throw off balance. Regularly after snow wheeling, especially wet snow, I have to clean out the wheels a bit or it will vibe bad. You could have thrown a weight off a tire ..

    Did you hit anything?

    played in the mud. didnt hit anything either. only thing i can think of is thrown a weight or have mud caked in the wheels. possibly loose lugs?

    I can't imagine loose lugs but I suppose it's possible. Does the shake get worse with speed? If so then it's a likely a balancing issue, ie: thrown weight or caked mud/snow.

    If it's constant and the same at all speeds then it's typically not a balance issue. Check lugs, tire pressure, any obvious issues looking underneath?

    couldnt see anything bc its dark but ill check in the morn. and it seems to only do it between like 10 and 25mph. only does it when im goin slow.
