    Bak Flip bed cover, shorty antenna, Peripheral iPod interface, Garmin 750 mount, add'l bed tie down rings, Westin nerf bars, hitch safe, tailgate lock, Ideal 1 3/4" turn-key clamp to secure tailgate from removal, Spare tire security cable, spare tire stainless air hose extender, Fumoto oil drain valve, Amp Research Bed X-Tender w/Schlage Cable Lock, bed mat, Redline hood struts
    When I engage 4 wheel drive, there is scrubbing of the front tires when turning slow tight turns and the front does not handle well at all, like it doesn't like being turned with the 4 wheel engaged. Is this a normal condition? It runs and handles fine when on the road in straight lines. This only seems to be the case when I am turning....I just chalked it up to being a more or less crude 4 wheel drive system, unlike the more sophisticated viscous coupled AWD systems like you find on an Audi or Subaru.

    It isn't good for it to be in 4x4 on dry surfaces for very long. It's a totally different system then an AWD.

    Jeez! So it's not good to put it in 4WD on pavement even to lubricate the drive shafts for a couple of miles? :confused:

    I think my owner's manual actually says to engage 4x4 when the roads are wet/raining.

    Oh my. Dear. Oh.......crikey.....gadzooks.....guess I'll never use my 4 wheel drive. Now I'm afraid to touch it. Think I'll glue a cap over the 4X4 knob. :(

    I think I am going to turn the 4 wheel knob and drive around in my wife's flower beds. hee hee hee.....

    I was glad I had some clearance today when I took my Wife to a Sonic. I had to drive over the side walk, curb, then a decent sized hill. Her response was "Did you do that 'cause you could?". Well.......of course. :eek:
