probably a dumb question but ive looked everywhere and couldnt find a answer.

    will a fj t-case work with my 2.7 4x4 5speed?

the way i figure the v6 tacoma a fj share the same drivetrain basically ( v6, same trans((6 speed or auto)) as well as similar t-case) so i dont think it will but i need some solid answers

any help would be great thanks :D

There are a few 4cyl guys that are running fj cases. Check out n0rth's build. He's got a bad 4cyl!

No problem. From what I've read the case fits with minor modification. I plan on eventually swapping mine out for one.

    what kind of modification?

ive been wanting to switch mine too, my case has been making sort of a howling noise, it sound like tire rumble most of the time but if you get it up on a lift and spin it up to 55mph it makes a horrible chatter, check u-joints, rear end, tires, all seems to be coming out the t-case so what better time than to drop in an fj case
