    Hi all,

Just got a 2013 with the non jbl touchscreen unit. Is it possible to get the reverse camera to display in the oem dash unit?

chrome on front painted to match, satoshi grill done by myself, BHLM, billys all the way around with ome springs upfront and LR ucas with wheelers 3 leaf progressive pack in the rear, mb gunner wheels powdercoated black on 285/75r16 nitto trail grapplers, tinted all the way around and on windshield, pioneer dbl din touch screen with two 10's behing the seat and new speakers all the way around and certain interior parts painted to match, also have a road wire leather kit black with red stitching sitting here waiting for me to find time to install it!
no you can not on the factory unit because there is not any video inputs.. there is a company i think named lock-pick but i am not sure if they have anything for the tacoma yet?? I do know you can tie into the factory camera so it will display on an aftermarket touch screen though..

There is a company on youtube that has a video showing the backup camera feeding into both the rear view mirror, and the non-JBL head unit. I guess it is possible. I emailed the guy but he doesn't want to say how he did it. Says I have to bring the truck to their shop. I even mentioned that I live in Hawaii and he still says he won't tell me how.

Thanks Capt. Obvious. I just figured since I live in Hawaii it's not like i'm a neighboring business looking to steal some secret. Also, I am not in the auto audio/video business.

Checked out some of that nav tv stuff. Looks like they want an arm and a leg for all their adapters.

No kidding. I'm sure those things cost less than a dollar to manufacture.

Hoping someone comes out with a tutorial on this topic soon if it hasn't already been figured out.

That would be awesome. I'm wondering why Toyota didn't just put the video feed into the dash screen since it's standard in the TRD's.
