any pictures how you hook that up...i saw the Beat Sonic AVC, looks hooking up an external player, i think some of members are looking to used bluetooth to enable video play via phone or ???

I no long have this radio...
I bought a 2014 non jbl entune navigation unit 2 weeks ago...this radio you can change the background screen only for start up tho...(as of now at least)

 

is this the base model one in my 2013!?!?

if so.. please enlighten me.. thank you

It's not really the base one...you need to ground one of the wires in the back of the radio so it pops that up...
(Just can't remember what wire at the moment )

Actually, Jerez, this is the base model radio for 2013. the dealer didn't surcharge anything except for the weather proof mates, back sliding window and door sills when i bought mine.

 

Yep. I was surprised to see a touchscreen in a base model truck. I was expecting an FM/AM only. Too bad I'm about to ditch it.

ok idk if this will work on the 2013 radio because i havent tried it...

but on my 2014 non jbl entune radio i was able to change the start up screen background following this:

Here's how to change the startup image on the entune nav:
Load a usb device, such as a flash drive with the image of your choice. The images file name, including the file extension, can be up to 32 characters. Name the image without spaces or strange characters. When saving the images to a USB, name the folder that the startup image is saved to “StartupImage” and name the folder that the screen off image is saved to “DisplayOffImage”. If these folder names are not used, the navigation system cannot download the images. (The folder names are case sensitive.)
The images file extension is JPG or JPEG. Image files of 10MB or less can be saved.
Up to 3 images can be downloaded. Plug the flash drive into your car usb port.
On the entune nav system:
Press the “SETUP” button
Touch “General” on the “Setup” screen.
Touch “Customize Startup Image”
Touch “Transfer”
Touch “Yes”
You can also delete and switch between screens.
You should now see your new startup screen flash by when the entune system is started each time.

but when i have the image saved for the scree off background, it keeps restarting the radio

maybe someone wants to give it a try on their 2013 (remember its the start up and screen off background not while the radio is playing etc.)
