Ok, so I found my pics of a few months ago when my roommate and I installed my lift. We started to do it one morning at our apartment and management started throwing the eviction word another so we reconsidered. All we need was a place outside with room to work. Auto parks store?! Naww, we're not that bad!! LOL. Then the flood gates opened up and the rain begin to pour. Plan B. Now, all we need is a place outside with room to work that is covered. We called a few self-storage places about get a room for a month but only needed it for one day. Hey, its a thought! And a dumb one, I know. What's that? Light Bulb!! I came up with an award winning idea, and best of all it FREE!! As most illegal great ideas tend to be. So, what was I thinkin'?? Well, here ya go.

Yes, that is a MACY'S in the background!! Our mall in Richmond has a two-story parking deck beside Macy's!! I'm a Genius. All we had to do was lie to the patrolling security cop that drove by slowly a few dozen times. Told him we were changing a tire. Should have seen the look on his face when we started working on the other side!! Enjoy.

"Got a little captain in you?!"

That's awesome. I know what you mean about landlords though... I was changing a flat tire one morning, and he was there in no time making sure I wasn't doing anything more...

Did the same thing with a buddies power steering pump on his T-Bird back in the day, but it was next to Sears, lol. We did one better though, since we only had one jack, we drove the other wheel up onto one of those parking blocks and set the e-brake so we could get under the car. We were so young and stupid then, could have died!! Mad props to you though, great minds think alike, lol.

Good idea man! I should go back and grab a pic of the security man with the finished product! That would be PRICELESS!!

The people passing by just looked at us and thought "Aww, look honey, it's white trash day at Macy's." I'd have to agree!!
