Currently 3" revtek lift, plan to upgrade.
Ok so I installed my 3" lift and yes it was a spacer up front and an AAl in the back. I do plan on upgrading once summer gets here. Anyways im running 245/75/16 and The uca us pretty close to the tire. Im wanting to get bigger tires like 265 but dont know if it will rub. Should i go ahead and get the new uca that way when i get my new lift i wont have to worry about it or should i be ok? thanks for any help.

you should do the suspenion lift and the UCAs at the same time as not to waste money on repeated alignments.

most folks on the list have stated that you can go to 265/75R16 tires on stock rims and not have any rub issues WITHOUT a lift.

I had a 2-1/4" top-coil spacer lift for about 3-1/2 years with the stock UCAs. I could not get my camber where it should've been and the tires subsequently wore more on the outside. It wasn't bad, but it still wasn't perfect. I finally installed the ToyTec ultimate lift coil-overs this past weekend and I put on Light Racing UCAs at the same time. The truck is still on the lift at my work awaiting other parts, but once it's done and I take it to get it aligned I'm sure the alignment will now be fine. Like my dad always said, "Do it right the first time so you don't have to do it again." Well, in my case with the lift and stock UCAs I should've installed aftermarket UCAs from the start.

Im still confused whether the bigger tires will rub with this lift or not.

Rubbing is never a simple yes/no question because every truck is slightly different. Springs sag over time, load over the lifetime of the vehicle affects things, and even the position of the alignment cams can and do influence rubbing.

If you're worried about rubbing, don't buy the tires. If you willing to take the necessary steps to fix problems that might come up, buy 'em and find out for yourself on your own truck. It's the only sure answer you'll ever get.

You should be fine with 265's on 16's with no rubbing, even with the "lift". That is the stock tire my '12 came with.
