None yet, but I'm pulling the pieces together.
I have a 2012 Dbl cab offroad stock. Last night I was rear ended by a Toyota Corolla. Not sure how fast they were going but it totaled their front end. My bumper is bent under and my truck bed is now bending down towards the rear and also has buckled in the center. I'm getting it looked at soon but was wondering what people thought on the chances of my frame being bent? I definitely will need a new truck bed, hoping they don't call it totalled. It doesn't look totalled.

Would sure have it checked at a frame shop. It does not take much to make the truck affected.

I was in an accident last August, rear ended in my GMC by a smaller car. Totaled it, bent my bumper, and the right rear tire would not touch the ground.. TotaleThat's why i now have a Toyota, new truck. :)

It kind of sounds like it may be bent from your explanations. That really sucks. Was everyone ok?

Personally I would prefer it totalled. Their never the same when repaired.

It will always be in the back of your mind, my frick'n truck was hit and not the same as it was...

I'd be out shopping for a new one, hoping it was totalled.

Probably bent. If it is, fight w/ your insurance company to get it totalled. They will want to fix it most likely.

It takes a lot to bend the receiver like that.

    That may get totaled.

The shitty thing is..if you're using XM radio now, a new '13 won't have XM radio.

Frame machine could probably straighten that out. A body shop won't want to total it, and neither will the insurance inspector. Hope it works out in your favor though

Well it will be the person who hit me who has to pay for it really, her insurance. I did everything I was supposed to and they were not paying attention and didn't stop like the rest of traffic and plowed right into me. The big pain for me is that I'm supposed to be driving to Arkansas in 2 weeks..

You should not have to adjust your plans because of the accident. You have a trip planned, the other driver's insurance company should be providing you with a rental if your truck is in the shop. EVEN IF YOUR TRIP TAKES YOU PAST THE DAY THE TRUCK IS FINISHED.
