    A few
So I have seen a very few tacos with offroad lights mounted to the hoods of our trucks near the windshields. I have looked at brackets that can mount to the hinges of the hood and come between the hood and the windshield. anyone out there can fabricate this? it'd be a top seller and I would be super interested in buying one!

Yes, Relentless makes one as well as Famous Fabrication. Here's a link where you can see both.

Dwreck (famous fab) also offers these light brackets

We are now offering a hood hinge bracket specifically made to accomodate deeper LED lights.

Due to the wrap around design of these brackets, you can now run up to 3.5" deep lights in this location without them hitting the windshield or interfering with the windshield wipers.

We will also be offering a set of Bulldog-Lighting Spikes with these brackets. Click HERE to check them out!

Idk the prices on any of the others, but if you want two Relentless has them at $40 shipped. That's pretty decent IMO. Don't know any other's pricing though.

Would lights in this location mean significant glare on the hood?

Also, are they nearly as effective as lights in front of the truck?

And, does anyone know if they would interfere with ones field of sight out of the windshield?

Depends.. If you get spot you shouldnt have any glare if angled correctly. and as far as interfering with vision, It probably would just a little but not a significant amount. But seeing as I dont have them on my truck I'm not 100% sure
