    I was thinking of maybe trying to come up with some sort of heat shield between the intake tube and the valve cover right under it. That should help some.

    that or possibly even some sort of heat resistant caoting might help

    im going to put mine back on my truck and get a chip burned for it. I remember the sound, it was so loud when you really romp on it.

    Im sure it mostly has to do with the fact that i cant keep my foot off the gas. I pretty much have to hide my keys and drive the wife's 09 forester to work. Kind of like what i do when im drinking...lol

    Hey if anyone is interested i have a k and n airfilter for the stock air box brand new, and a k and n intake that has less then 500 miles on it for a 4.0 v6 tacoma. make me an offer on each i just want them outa the garage.:)
