Steering wheel help

so when i bought my tacoma it had a salvage title and the airbag from the steering wheel had been deployed. I was thinking of just buying a replacement air bag from the dealer but maybe i should just buy the whole new steering wheel because i would like to have the radio controls on it since my current one does not have them. what do you guys suggest? does anybody know where i can buy a new steering wheel? i know it wont be cheap but i would just feel safer knowing i have an airbag instead of an empty shell. Thanks for any help you guys could provide

 

You can replace the airbag, but it most likely needs more components(modules and sensors). Also, your truck may not be wired for steering wheel controls, maybe somebody else can chime in on that. And one last thing, I am almost certain that you are required by law to replace any deployed airbags after an accident if they are a part of the original safety equipment. So I'm not sure how your truck passed inspection if it doesn't have an airbag. I wish the best of luck to you.
