I'm curious to hear who has successfully used their Toyota maintenance on a new truck to knock out items like new tire mounting, balancing, TPMS sync with new Toyota wheels/sensors, and an alignment.

If I wait a few months and used this, it could save me what amounts to a few tanks of gas. I would be installing the parts myself, and then driving the truck, slowly - on stock wheels, to the dealership.

I'm planning on OME 884's, Bilstein 5100's all around, and a 1" spacer in the rear.

    oil change...
    wut?

tire mounting, balancing, tpms work, and alignments are not warranty items...you still pay for them.
I think the only thing they do for free with the toyota care would be to rotate your tires when you take her in for the free oil change

I haven't brought the truck in to be dissapointed by what free maintenance is covered!

Thanks for the heads up - I'll come out of pocket on it!

I was able to get them install LR UCA's on their dime. That was after several failed attempts to get the alignment correct. A cheap fix for them to get me off of their backs. This was on a dealer installed lift.

Well I was able to get the dealer to install 5100's for me during the tsb at no cost. Ballance was included as well so i save about $350 in labor.

Mounting/Balancing and Alignments you can pay for lifetime or unlimited in a certain timeframe packages (I have life time at Firestone - Get like 4 or 5 a year if I wanted to).
TPMS they might hook you up on depending on what your dealer relationship is like. It should only be like 80 bucks uf they don't have to do anything but program the sensors.
    Good luck!!
