I've have a problem with my fog lights.

I had bought them on Ebay and installed them myself.
The instructions seemed pretty straight forward and plugged things in and connected things up and when I go to give the lights a try and see if they work, the fog lights did not turn on but the high beams did and they stayed on. the only way I could turn off the high beams was to turn off all lights on the stick on the side of the steering column.

Has anyone ever run into this problem before?
Did I wire the fog lights incorrectly?
Is the fog light switch its self bad?

Ha yes I have run through checking on things a few times. Was hoping to hear a little more. Do you happen to know the wire color of the parking lights, low beams and high beams. the directions call for a wire from the switch to be spliced into the parking lights. I've been told that I have to splice into the low beams cause of state law.
    Can ya help at all?

You, my friend, need to get yourself a test light. You have something seriously wrong in the way you wired your fogs. You need to get a test light, find the power wire to your low beams and tap into that. That is the wire that goes to your switch and then triggers your relay. Your fog lights themselves should have their own power supply with an in-line fuse that goes to the relay and then to the lights. Then you just ground the relay, lights and switch (if lighted) as necessary to a good chassis ground.

Well I got it straightened out...easy fix. Pro had it figured out in 20 min. Although the fog light set was missing a wire that wasn't included. Thanks for your help though.
