I have heard both ways from the dealer now so figured id come to old faithful my friends on the forum. I have a 2005 dbl cab LB 4x4 sport and stock my truck came with 17's. I am looking at some different tires for it but they only come in the 16's. The dealer has now told me that yes they will fit and no they won't fit so here i am asking you people that will know for sure.

You can fit aftermarket wheels but you gotta do some research on which ones fit. But if you want them to fit forsure what some people do is get .25 inch spacer with extended wheel studs and shave the caliper and you'll be able to make them fit

I have 16" on mine. If you use the sticky weights to balance your tires the front calipers may knock them off depending on how thick they are. I had to have mine re balanced with the weights that stick on the inside of rim. Not much clearance between rim and caliper.

16" DC Torque wheels fit with no issues (weights, calipers, etc).

The only additional info is that you will need Gorilla Lugs ET (check my signature).
