Well today was the day. I drive about 20 minutes to work everyday on Beltway 8. For the past several months they have been doing construction on the roads to widen them to compensate for the major traffic. Well due to all this construction the traffic is even worse now so i just knew one day i would get hit or hit someone else. Today was the day:( I was driving and a dodge truck was rather close behind me at speed. This worried me. So then the traffice started to slow down very rapidly and I immediately looked in my mirror as the dodge swerved into the other lane to avoid hitting me:eek: Well as soon as i looked back in front of me it was too late. BAM!!!!! Right into the back of a Toyota Avalon!!! Fuck:( So we pulled off the freeway and Constables came to do their thing and we swapped insurancesand went on our way. My pride is a little sore but other than that no injuries to either of us. The only cool thing is i didnt get a ticket so i guess thats my light at the end of the tunnel lol Here are some pics

You can see some of the gashes on my lower valance and my plate bent

Here is the passenger side that is separating from the truck and alos a bolt feel out from under my bumper when i got to work:eek:

Your airbag didn't go off did it? About how fast were you going when you hit? Sucks but it happens, that's what the insurance company is for. I wouldn't be too overly concerned about you insurance rate going up unless you got or have other infractions (speeding, no seat belt, ect.) on other occasions.
