Replacing my front rotors and pads this weekend. Don't know what brand or type to go with.. Im a pool guy and carry full truck loads of chemicals at times. Also will throw a couple dirtbikes and gear in the back every other week. Looking for something that'll last with the weight I pull. Any suggestions?

    Thanks guys!

Toyota has revised rotors they started installing after 2006 or so to eliminate brake squeak. If noise bothers you, go with factory stuff. Maybe some others will chime in on some various brands they have had luck with.

Anybody know if a factory set from a 2012 4*4 would fit on my 06' 2wd? Might buy a new/used set from a member for $150.

Working on it. Never Ending :)
EBC Green stuff Pads are an upgraded pad for our trucks, they have great bite, or you could go one step higher with EBC Yellow Stuff Pads, I think those are the next ones up or the Red Stuff ones.

Autozone had three options for pads, $25, $35, & $45 respectively. I bought the ones in the middle. On a side note, I was pleasantly surprised how easy it is to swap just the brake pads. No removal of the caliper. Brilliant.

please skip ACDelco rotors. No good.

There are pins and placement springs...pull them all out and squeeze the old pads...slip them out and the new ones in...Replace pins and spring...and DONE!! Does not apply if you are doing rotor work...
