Well things have finally started moving on the lightbar build thanks to Coil (silver07taco). He's doing a great job with the build and might be willing to build another set if you ask nicely.

Here is his good work. Hopefully will be finished tomorrow afternoon.

To be honest, I'm hoping for the best with this. I haven't wired it up to look at the glare off the hood. The light is going to sit about an 1" past the upper edge of the windshield and 5-6" above the windshield. I think it's going to be good. It will sit higher and farther forward than mounts that have had problems with glare.

I'll let him chime in if he's interested in building a couple more sets. The DC brackets would be different because they already have holes to mount the brackets in. For the ACs like Coil and I have, you have to drill holes in the roof. You'll see when we get it mounted up. I think it will look pretty professional when it's all said and done.

Thanks Colin! He's really doing a great job. I've been helping with the build by holding, taking pictures, lighting things on fire, and helping him burn himself.

    And well, I designed it.

All done! I'm really happy. Turned out really nice. I'll let you take up the price of fabbing a set of these up with Coil, but he put in a lot of work on these. I'd say nearly 20 hours on this first set. We were even able to keep the stock rail covers in place with a little trimming.

wow that looks good. How much would you sell them for? I am assuming you would get quicker at it as you make more. Looks real good I bet it is bright at night

Revised post with better night photos...

These night pictures are much better. It was raining, but the light output is much more accurate in these photos.
