    Hi guys last night was coming home from work with soup for my sick wife, 2 large Thai soups, long story short they fell spilled on the rug, soaked up everything. Tried tuff stuff, some oxy clean spray, scrubbed it, although drastically gone there is still a smell of it. What can I do besides tearing up the rug??????? Btw had the Tacoma a few weeks grrrrr

    Use an actual carpet scrubber? And give it time, it'll go away

    Either get the carpet cleaned at a detail shop, or use a rug doctor with uphosltry wand / shop vac set up for wet vac and a spray bottle with water and upholstry shampoo. Be sure to rinse all shampoo out with clean water.

    Good product, between this and a carpet vac the smell will likely be gone.

    Sweet ones.
    Yea they saved my ass a couple weeks ago when my hungover friend tried to vomit out my closed passenger side window. I was able to empty 70% of it just by picking up the weather tech floor mat, not a drop hit the carpet. The other 30% was IN the door. Needless to say we learned how to take apart the entire door that day. BUY SOME!

    Now you tell me..,:rolleyes::D

    The downside to buying online without seeing the product first hand I suppose, but I do still like 'em. If I had to do it again, I'd look closer at the husky liners, but I'm not going to dump my WTs over it. I end up with a puddle sloshing around on the floor when I'm in and out often in deep snow is all.

    Back on topic, ZEP odorstroyer is another product that will kill any lingering odors like that, if you guys south of the border can get it. Sounds like its under control though, which is good.:thumbsup:
