    Hello Forum,

I did the diff the diff breather mod back in May. I forgot the part #'s but I believe that I found them on this forum. I'm curious to know something. How can you tell when these go bad? How do I know if it gets clogged?

I am not having any issues with it but since I did a diff upgrade 2 days ago (open diff to OEM LSD diff), I am paying more attention to that now.

    Thanks!

. . . . i guess if you start blowing seals, then maybe you should take a look at it. otherwise, it should be fine. . . . . . .right?

If its clogged the gasses will have know where to escape but through the pinion seal or axle seals. And that will be very noticeable and obvious because there will be gear oil leaking from those points

OK. That makes sense. I guess that in the location that it's in, it shouldn't get clogged so easily.

    Thanks!

When we meet, remind me to show you the location and diff mod I accomplished. Similar but different.

Also, I should give you the materials to keep the air conditioning drain from dumping water on your frame.
