Come on guys don't hate on chevy. I come from a family of chevy owners. My dad had a '92 silverado when younger and he didn't have problems with it. He bought a new '00 suburban and till this date, he hasn't had any problems with it. The only reason I have a tacoma is because I didn't want a full size truck and hated the Colorado and so far I love it

Congratulations on your new truck. Your old truck looked pretty sweet, sorry you were starting to have problems.

It was actually a request for a $9 billion line of credit and a $5 billion loan from the Dept. Of energy with the promise to retool plants and accelerate R&D on smaller and hybrid cars. Ford ended up NOT taking the money. Although they did benefit from the tarp fund in the long run as they have many of the same suppliers as GM and Chrysler. Those suppliers were in worse shape than the auto makers.

I am not trying to piss on the OP's thread. It just strikes a nerve that GM puts themselves on a pedastool when they don't deserve to be.
I sent well wishes to the OP and I am sincere when I say that I hope the truck serves him and his family well.

I like a Chevy but 10mpg sucks. I had a single cab z-71 and no matter what I did it got 10-13mpg.(That driving normal) If I tried and go fast in it like 8mpg. Nice truck but no MPG

That kid is tiny next to the truck. Nice Chevy. I drive one as a work truck. No issues except a hard clunk coming to a stop light. But some tacos doing too
