Moving the rear view mirror up.

    Tried to see if I could take the mirror off the mount following the instructions in the bracket review thread. Mine doesn't have a screw that it talks about.

    Mine looks like this

    I don't want to just start pulling on stuff since its on the glass, might not end well.

    May have to get one of these as well...I find the RVM placement dangerous.

    I thought I was the only one. The mirror has been driving (no pun intended) me nuts! Right in my center/right field of vision. Been wanting to rip the thing off and toss it out the window.
    Unfortunately, my mirror is not like those stated in the thread, and the bracket will not work. However, I do plan on removing it somehow (probably using the trick from the provided link, heat gun) and moving it up.
    Hate the current location. :mad:
