What is this?

This was in the glove box of my Taco when I bought it. I cannot figure out what it is. Has anyone here ever seen anything like this?

my vote is - a handle from a piece of outdoor patio furniture

I am fairly confident that it IS NOT an OEM part of your truck.

 

It's the noose the guy used to kill his neighbor before chopping him up and stuffing him into a shoebox and burying him in the backyard!

 

I must agree it looks like lawn furniture.

 

i bet its from when they delievered the truck on a car carrier. some sort of tie down device.

That makes sense. I thought it may be some aftermarket gizmo or something, but now that you mention it, it does look like something from outdoor furniture. Thanks.

its a special edition hood ornament. just use some JB Weld and stick it on your hood. it'll look sweet

 

That's a great idea. I'm going to do that this afternoon.

If that's the case, then I am definitely going do it. I may put a sticker on the back window too, that should be good for another 5hp at least.

 

Hmmmm..you put her hands through the hole.....tie a nylon rope to the end and attach said rope to corner post of bed. There weren't 3 more of these in the glovebox?

 

Some guy at the Toyota factory for got to remove his C@#K ring from the night before?....I don't think Toyota has gorillas working for them tho?

I think it was a part of something, who know's what.

But the guy inspecting, just realized he had it in his pocket and threw it in there.

Or when it got driven off the truck to the sales lot, same thing. Someone was just getting rid of a piece of junk.
