    well things got worse.
I decided to just give up on my kill switch.

But now my abs light is on, my parking brake light, my trac light, and maint req flashes on start up. So wth did I get myself into?

Which modification scheme are you trying to do?
    Most require a DPST switch.
Possibly your IG1 10A fuse is blown.

Maint. Required light is probably just coincidence. That's just a dummy light that flashes on start up when you cross 4,500 miles since last reset and goes solid at 5,000 miles since past reset.

I was wiring abs switch. I found out on my own. I found which part of the wire was sending positive/negative feed. Then used that for the switch. Just in case anyone is wondering how to put abs on a lighted switch or ywm. The positive feed is going to the connector. So run that to the positive of switch. Then the auxiliary part of switch to the part of wire going to the connector. Thank you all for trying to help me
