I was just browsing on the local dealership website and they had a new 2008 Impulse Red Pearl Access Cab V6 4x4 6 Speed listed for $23,500. Should I trade in my 2006 Impulse Red Pearl Access Cab I4 4x4 5 Speed for the newer truck? I only have 48,500 miles on my truck. I was thinking that if I could keep my payments the same it might not ba a bad idea. Any thoughts?

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
If you're paying for a truck that you don't want to, then sure why not?

If you're going to take advantage of low financing, why not?

I've thought about dumping my 06 a few times for an 09 if the price was right...

Personally I wouldn't, and here's my train of thought. If I were to upgrade from a 4x2 to a 4x4 or an Access Cab to a Double Cab, then I could see making the difference. Unless you're not happy with your I4 I'd really look at your options. I don't think you'll get that good of a deal on your trade in and it's basically the same vehicle except for the motor. Your payments will most likely be the same but they'll tack on an extra 2 or 3 year. Again, unless you really want that V6, I'd look for a better deal, actually, try to find an 09 since there were some major safety upgrades to the truck that year. At the end of the day, it's your decision and your money, if it's a good deal for you than go for it. Remember Toyota was down about 30 something % and will be willing to deal a little bit...
