The all weather flooring is available for both the 2012 & 2013. Should fit both, interchangably.

I believe I have been duped...I went to two different dealerships and both said that the HD all-weather flooring is only available on base model Tacomas and Tundras. Maybe it's most common with fleet vehicles?

I just got my DCSB 4x4 TRD-OR back in December. I had to educate the dealership on the availbility of the all weather flooring. Once I got them convinced, they ordered the truck, just like I wanted it.

Yep, if you just do a little research, you will be smarter than the average salesman...

This is pretty cool, but when I pulled up the carpet to put the rubber flooring in, I would first coat the whole bottom of the cab with some waterproofing rubber or something to help waterproof the floor from water that might enter the cab through the openings in the floor.

You'd rather pay $200 for just floor mats instead of the $50 factory option for the entire flooring in vinyl AND the rubber floormats?
Seemed like a great value to me :D

The openings that you're talking about, is that just from adjusting the flooring to your model, or would they be there if the flooring was installed from the factory?

I'm refering to the holes in the floor go out the bottom of the cab to allow wiring and cables to either the cab. They have grommets on them but they aren't perfectly water tight.

Get a Tacoma (or any vehicle) stuck like this:

And you will have water come up through the bottom of the cab like this:

That's a shame. I loved the all vinyl interior on my old 1990 pickup. I'd pull the bench seat out every six months, pop the drain plugs, soap and water it from the headliner on down. Took about one hour from start to finish.

Ah, the good old days. Of course, that truck was a very noisy cab without the sound insulation the padding provides.
