cheapo ebay camera...

Thoughts? Experiences?

I just got a free double din clarion I could hook it up to....

 

I put a $12 one on mine. Came on the slow boat from China. Still working after almost a year. The metal bracket that came with it didn't last though; rusted and broke off... It's now zip-tied to my trailer hitch but still works none-the-less

It's no HD camera, but it get's the job done. I find it especially helpful at night.

 

My honest thoughts are that you get what you pay for?

 

you do; there's a lot of cameras out there with a much cleaner picture


and that don't fall off...


but for $12 I'm not complaining; already have a backup for it if it ever fails (freebie)

 

I have just purchased a Clarion CC510 with the tag bracket. I saw on on a buddys truck and it has great clarity and alignment bars. What I liked about the frame is that it, too has led lights and you do not have to rely on backup lights. I gave $119.51 but will install it myself. I have a Pioneer AVH 2400 BT stereo double din that has the selector switch so that you can use view what is behind you (trailer or the tailgater) even while moving forward and the image is WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get).
