I installed the ride rites and 5100's this weekend. Found out that you do not have to loosen the bolts for your alignment on your lower control arm to fit the assembly in. If you use a large pry bar you can push it down far enough to give you enough room to get it in.

Got excellent service from suspension connection. Emailed with Troy the VP a couple of times. If you are on FB and like them they will send you a free t shirt. They shipping was supposed to be 8-10 days. Had my air bags in 3 days and 5100's in 4 days. Great people to work with!

I set my 5100's at 2 1/2". In order to level the truck I have to run about 80psi in the ride rites to level the truck. It rides a little to rough. Thinking about dropping it back down to 1 3/4" so I can run less air pressure. Is there another option such as lifting blocks or springs that would work with the ride rites so I can keep the 5100's at 2 1/2". I have the 3 spring leaf pack.

80 psi is gonna make the truck's ass bounce like crazy, especially if you have no load. are you running stock springs in the front?

Ok, here's the skinny, I have basically the same set up as you but I have a Wheeler's 2inch AAL, now before you think you have to look into that as well, my truck is alot heavier than yours as i have a cap and rack that weighs 450lbs of constant weight. My weight empty with a half-tank and just me is almost 5000lbs.
Now, first the fronts, set at 2.5 on the stock springs is going to be pretty stiff, not a whole lot of damper to soften the ride. I'm set a 1.75 with the same Sport springs, it is stiff but also it handles better. With my high center of gravity, that is a concern. You may find the front a little easier at 1.75, now if you didn't take it for an alignment, you should, adding lift changes how the tires sit, they will wear wrong if you don't.
On to the back, I am to assume the reason you have bagged it is that you wish to level it? I never run that high of a PSI unless I'm hauling over 1000lbs total (cap+rack+load), otherwise, the ass end gets way too squirrely on me and bounces into the air on speedbumps, muey no bueno. Try lower pressures closer to say 15 - 20 psi max, you may even find a sweet spot under 10 psi. Unloaded (meaning just the cap+rack), i usually run around 15 PSI, a little stiff, but levels the truck and overall it handles pretty damn good for such a big, tall truck.

I do have a cap too. I bagged it for a little lift mostly to haul weight. I have not done the alignment yet because I was not sure if I would leave it at 2 1/2" and I need tires anyway. I like it at 2 1/2". would I be better off to get a 2aal or just drop back down to 1 3/4" in the front?

using just the bags to add all your lift is gonna mean it bounces a lot, Because what you are doing is essentially making the air bags do the job that the leaf springs and shocks are there to do. If the rear has an AAL then you will get around the lift height you want and the bags are primarily used for maybe a tad bit more lift but more for hauling loads. I don't know how much your cap weighs but I would assume that in selling a "2 inch AAL" what they are assuming is a stock truck with no cap, rack or any other constant weight in the back. Looking at my set up and not actually measuring it, with my constant 450lbs of extra weight, it looks like the 2 inch AAL has settled down to maybe 1 1/4 to 1 1/2? It would be fair to figure your AAL would settle some with your rack. I use the bags with a little constant pressure to set the truck at dead-level.
How about this, put the AAL in, deflate the bags all the way and see how the truck sits before you change the front lift. I still think 1.75 in the front is going to give you a slightly better ride in the front as opposed to 2 1/2. If you want to solve the problem the 'right' way, you will need after-market front coil springs and a full replacement leaf-springs in the back. The set up that we currently have is a trade off, stiffer ride in the front, added hauling capacity (with the airbags), but overall less cost that redoing everything.

Finally got a little time to do a little test on my set up yesterday. I let the air out of my bags a pulled a measurement on the front fenders at 37". The rear were at 36". To raise the rear to 38" it took 44psi. The ride was much better. I ordered 2" aal from wheelers off road last night. Hope to put them on next weekend and use the ride rites a little more as intended and have a better ride. thanks for all of the help and input!

Last weekend I installed the Wheelers 2" aal and lowered my 5100's to 1.75". Man did the make a world of a difference in the ride. Put on Firestone Destination AT's today and got my alignment. I am one happy camper now! I am ready for another mod now! Damn TW! I think it will be a power lock for the tailgate and window tint. Looking at NFAB steps too. I got to start posting some pics.

Hey OP, was there a noticeable difference in the ride with and without the airbags? When you were sitting on the bags, was the ride still as plush as it was before the bags?

That's awesome man, glad you're happy with it, I was pretty stoked with mine, still am. Considering the amount of money I laid out compared to the other options, this truck is still a beast, there will be a point where I will take the next steps, but this truck does everything i need it to do and then some.
Case in point, this pics was just yesterday, what you are looking at is 40 bags of 50lb High Strength concrete, plus some ply, 2 x 4's on the rack, IDK, maybe 2700lbs total with the cap and rack.
