Use the search function or check the stickies. Both bring you here

After I went to school at Jim Russel (Riverside) and Skip Barber (Limerock) in the 80's I became a firm believer in seatbelts (cinched up tight) . Use it all the time .
But now I help out a buddy 1-3 times a month delivering 230+ newspapers at 4 am . The chime gets annoying . First oil change today and the dealer would not do it .

I was just sighing because it gets tiring when people are that concerned about other people's business... To each their own! I usually wear mine, but there are certain situations I don't. That's odd that they wouldn't disable it for you. Maybe try another dealership? When I asked my dealership to shut mine off they said "Sure! Just the driver's side or both?"

It clearly states in your owners manual that the chime is an option which can be disabled by the dealer. Show them that and they'll do it.

it is nice to be able to go from one locked gate to another without the pressure of putting on your seatbelt for 30 seconds or having your head explode. or taking ag samples. hop in, roll 150 ft., hop out... no need for a seatbelt there

It will stop chiming, eventually..... I think they designed it to continue chiming for ~15 seconds longer than what any normal person can take before it shuts off. Unfortunately you'll have to endure it every time you use the e-brake despite leaving the truck running. Unsure about if it'll re-set the chime if you engage P on your AT truck....I don't have that.

Just have the dealer disable it instead of driving yourself to insanity.
