    Guys I need some help...

I have a 2011 TRD Sport DC and am trying to figure out what to do as my first BIG EXPENSIVE mod.

I REALLY want to supercharge but....

I just don't know what to think about it.

    Help a guy out, please.

To supercharge or not supercharge? that is the question

Lists some good pros/cons as well.

    Cheers

The SC would just make me dangerous and get me speeding tickets.

I think you need a nice Icon extended travel suspension upgrade!

At least that's my plan for my 2012.

Ive been doing a little research and have found that with the SC you get better MPG with just regular driving? Hmm...

    You're kidding right?

I've pretty much yet to do any mod that didn't turn out either more expensive than I planned, more work than I had in mind, and/or involved some peripheral breakage or unintended consequence.

It's crazy to take on any modification "half heartedly" let alone something like a supercharger.

So, if you're *asking* me if you should do some modification - I always say "no."

If you're *determined* to do some modification, come hell or high water, and you know *why* you're doing so, what you plan to gain, and what the likely unintended consequences might be - well then - that's the time to take it on.

I very much doubt that since you'll always have boost.

Also, If the truck is not paid off, I suggest your first big mod should be paying it off.

Key word... Regular driving.... You won't be doing any regular driving once you feel that supercharger.

^^^Exactly!! There are a lot of mods like CAI's and headers and cat backs and S/C's and such that are supposed to improve mileage because these all help your engine breathe better. The problem is that they make the Taco sound better and/or faster and such and in the end you are in the throttle more than you were before and net worse mileage. This happens almost every time to every one. haha
