Is there any negative effect if my driveway has about a 5% crossfall. The truck would be leaning when I change the oil in the front and rear diff and the lsd.

    I called toyota.

    They want

    150 to do the front
    150 to do the rear
    70 to do the lsd.

Just the norm skids, sliders, & 35's
It should be fine, as long as most drains out. Just make sure to put an lsd additive back in the rear. For what they quoted you for you could almost buy full syn I think.

Thanks for the response. Yeah my jaw almost dropped. With taxes it would be like 425.00.

Might turn the truck around to put the fill plugs on the high side if the incline/ decline is that much. But other than that DO IT YOURSELF!!! :D

A little lean wont hurt anything and yes, do the swap yourself cause the dealers will rape you! They wanted like $200 to do my spark plugs which I did on my own in 30 minutes.

I think I spent under $100 to change the front, rear and x-fer case fluids including changing the crush washers when I did mine. I used Valvoline synthetic.

X1000000 on getting the fill plug off first before the drain plug.

Remember the limited slip additive for the rear since you have an older TRD Sport with the mechanical LSD. Just because the oil says LS on the front, does not mean it has the additive in it, it usually just means that it is LSD compatible.

Here is a good write-up on how to do the rear. I believe there is a write-up on how to do the front and transfer case as well on here but do a search.
