Hi, I am new to Tacoma World and new to Tacomas! I am a retired Coastie, flew from Oregon to North Carolina to bring this 2008 Tacoma TRD home - the dealership hid some problems, but I a working on getting those fixed and starting on upgrades. My first is the dual battery install - see photos.

    Great to join the group!

Nice, I like the tray for the batteries, where did you get that? Also what AH are you expecting to get out of those two red tops? I was thinking bout doing the same but using the blue ones.
    Looks good!

Columbiaoverland.com is who makes Dual Battery Tray about 185.00 with shipping, then lots of 2 gauge cables custom made at your local auto parts store.
Took me about a week to finish. Went with 2 new Optima Red Top 35 batteries at a cost of about 420.00 for both, and about 100.00 for cables and 15.00 for 2 100 amp ANL inline fuses. Went with Cole Hersee 200 amp smart battery isolator at a cost of 120.00 and put a momentary switch with an led light for connecting both batteries for self jumping. Cost way more than expected.
Now on to my next project replacing upper A Arms with adjustable to correct the alignment problem.
Love this site its full of helpful info.
