What's the best add/on or options to buy when getting a new Tacoma and when trading in what's the best way to get the best trade in value, other than a good detailing. I just looked up pricing on Toyota web page and all equipped new Tacoma 4x4, double cab, is over $41,000. That can not be right. Is it really a best deal to buy new on the internet.

Here in pa at Bobby Rahal Toyota you can get a full packaged tacoma for about $31500. Best to do to keep value is just take care of it. No body or paint. damage.

Must be nice to be in the US. In Canada that price would not shock me. A Baja edition up here would be in the mid to upper 40's. Most of the time ou r money is on par with yours.

To be honest your best deal is to buy one that is 1 or 2 years old with a single owner who either ended a lease or just wanted something else...That $31,000 tacoma is $26,000 when you drive it off the lot...it's suddenly "Used" and without a good down payment you're immediately upside down...
    That instant depreciation kills you...
But I am sure you have your heart set on an odometer that reads 0000 :)

A new car loses 40% of its value in the first 3 years. To me, that's the sweet spot between age, mileage, and price.
