I found this link so I could change out the leds on the a/c and recirculate buttons. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/lighting/106431-my-ac-controls-light-mod-how.html
and the link for reference in the post doesn't work. I have the screws out and it looks like its ready for the backplate and circuit board to just pop off but it won't. Do I have to take the knobs off first? I tried and they seem to be on there pretty good and I don't want to break anything.

nevermind i thought you were simply changing the bulbs. if you are just changing the bulbs, one is at the knife point, the other is easy to spot. 1/4 turn counterclockwise to remove

I figured it all out and didn't even break anything! Soldered in the green leds and put it all back together. Just finished the leds next to the clock and not working on clearing the tint off the clock lens. Thanks for the help though!
