DIY – Tonneau Cover Front Edge Gap/Leak Fix (Cheap & Easy)

For those looking for a professional (and slightly costlier solution--around $25), I just found out that two manufacturers make a product to fill the gap at the front of a Tacoma bed, where the side rails are higher than the front rail of the truck bed. Most installers just put some extra tape up there, but there is a special product. The former site has two heights. It's the XL that fits Tacomas. For those with leaks up front (which is always my problem area) I hope this helps! Mine hasn't arrived yet so can't say if it works. Will try to remember to post an update after it arrives.

my ARE leaks and i 100% agree ARE and others brands need to provide a solution.

 

Do you guys have any problems on the tail gate end? It does not seal tight there neither!
