Figure i post some pics of my Hi-Lift and bed basket mounted up. I have been researching how i wanted to do this over the past several months and slowly gathering parts on ebay. I had the Hi Lift and purchased the basket locally at a good price.

    Here is a parts list:
    -Yakima Load Warrior basket
    -Yakima universal rails
-Yakima Railriders 1 (N.O.S. off ebay since they dont make them anymore)
-Yakima 66 inch crossbars cut to length
-Yakima snap-arounds to mount the Hi Lift
-U bolts and a random assortment of bolts, nuts, and washers.

I can take the basket off in about ten minutes and leave the cross bars on for my kayak, bike, lumber... Or take the whole basket and bars off in one piece in about 1 minute. So i feel its a great setup so i still can leave my Access cover on to keep the bed dry, or remove it to use my whole bed.

-Basket will be used for coolers, bins, firewood or anything i want to put in it on my trips. I use the stock spare tire, so that is staying under the truck.

Going to put it to use on monday, and Rausch Creek next weekend.

This is what I'm looking for! I like your set up so you can still use the tonneau. Did you just drill into the top of the bed rails? How much did all this end up running? Would I need a tire attachment to mount a full size spare in the basket?

Sub'd. This is my goal for the bed of my truck. I already have the roll up tonneau. Looks like all i need now is to piece together the Yakima components. Thanks OP for the detailed list and awesome pics. Are you still liking the set up?
