How to secure loose overfenders???

So I was stuck in the soup a week back and had someone pull me out, but in doing so I ripped the drivers side mudflap off completly, hardware and all. Not so worried about that but some of the overfender snaps or plasti-rivets (whatever they're called) popped out and it is loose at the bottom. ANy reccommendations on how to approach this? Should I take the whole thing off or just get new hardware? If so, from where. Do I need any special tools? Thanks in advance for any advice or recommendations!

 

Best bet is to remove the flare and buy new clips from Toyota, plastic trim tool should help with removal.

 

Try ebay for the clips, Toyota is awfully proud of their shit. Then if possible pull the fender liner down, and try to pop all the clips off from the back. It's more work this way but you risk braking the tabs the clips secure to on the flares if you just pull them off. You can try that way too but just saying... be careful. Not to mention you save all the clips doing it the other way, if you pull it off, you'll break almost all of the clips. Then just apply new clips and snap it back into place.
