Any one out there installed front timbren bumps on their 09' tacoma. If so how did you get the old bump stop off, 16 mm wrench? Any insight would be great?
    Thanx. Rob

I have them on my 07 taco, I used a pipe wrench to get the old ones off.

Hello Kyle: How did you get at the factory nut? My 09' has very little room to get in there? Did yours have only one bumpstop? I know older taco's had two.
    Thanx. Rob

Im not to sure what you are talkin about, You should just be able to unscrew the old bumperstops off and screw the new ones on.

My bumps on the 09' are mounted on the frame not on the lower UCA and I cannot really get to the nut it is protected by mounting area which surrounds it. Kyle did you just screw off the bump itself with the pipe wrench? How did you hold the nut while doing this?
    Thanx. Rob

There wasnt a nut to hold on it, I belive its welded to the frame so all you have to do is unscrew the stock bumperstop.
