Just another Bilstein Question

I am about to pull the trigger on some Bilsteins and the OME 885 coils. I have a 2012 toyota tacoma with the tsb. At the moment it is about 2.5 inches higher in the rear. If I add the Bilstein with the OME 885 will it be semi close to level?

 

Bilstein 5100's set at 0 or .85 should put you real close w/ the 885's. If im not mistaking I think the 885's will give you about 1.6" so setting them at .85 should put you at 2.45 for the front which will just about have you level.

Pull the trigger!! That's a good setup. I have my 5100's set at 1.75 and love the ride. I am going to do the 885's when I have the money and drop the 5100's to .85. There are lots of guys running it the way you are and love it!! Wish I could have a tsb done on mine Could get rid of that damn 2" block in the rear.

there are a couple of threads stating that you should leave your billies at zero when using ome 885's. I've got a set i just took off. they're set at zero and it was a stiff ride. i couldnt even imagine them compressed.

 

885s 2.5-3" of lift. I have them. Leave the billys at 0 do not preload them. You might be higher in the front. 884s yield a little less lift

 

I think eibach springs provide the same lift and a smoother ride. At least that's what I read and I chose to run eibach springs. They are a great ride, much better than stock. Set at .85 I have about 2.7 inches of lift.

 

Your thinking of eibach coils

 

Eibachs are stiffer than 885s.
Eibachs = 620 lb spring rate
885s = 590 lb spring rate
