I been seen quite a few of these being installed from a few ppl here but I tried n look at the benefits of having one installed and I see it needs to be setup, how hard is it to install it yourself and is it recommended. What kind of setup would it need it my truck is still stock?

You are interested in installing something but you don't know what it does?

your best bet is Scangauge II it has more flexibility and a whole section
of trip computers you can set up...cost per trip, cost per day...mpg per
trip...etc. it can also send codes to your ecu (you are on your own researching
this I am not gonna get into it) and more people use Scangauge so there
is a lot of info to google on customizing it

Sweet man thanks! I'll definitely look into it. Hopefully its not as pricey as the aeroforce tech gauge but appreciate the opinion.

The Aeroforce costs a bit more but you get a lot more functionality not to mention a significantly better looking and higher quality gauge.
