What is the lowest interest rate from Toyota Financial these days? I have excellent credit.

It varies by car. Tacomas might be 2.9%, it was when I shopped "in my area." Some cars are down to 0% depending on length of term.

All the major banks and credit unions advertise rates on their websites based on prime and sub prime FICO scores, so you can compare. Find your credit score and it will be in a bracket with APR range for a new or used.

Toyota does not advertise this way and its hidden. Seem fishy? Well it is.

Best thing to do is when your are ready to sign paperwork, go to three or more banks and get pre-approved letters and know the APR they'll offer you. Then go close on your vehicle and see if TFS can beat it. Win-win set up.

I think it may depend on the region, but here in southeast region, there's a pretty good deal thru Toyota at the moment for the Tacoma. 0% for 36 months, 1.9 for 48, 2.9 for 60. I'm planning on using the 0% for 36 months, assuming I qualify.

The finance officer always tacks on an extra percent or two for themselves and the dealership. It is a pretty standard procedure. They sometimes give cash back for financing but I always transfer the loan to a credit union because manufacture or dealer financing can't compete with them.

On my '12 I financed 2.9% with TFS and received a $750 discount. Then I transferred the loan to Navy Federal 1.79% and received $250 and then I payed off the loan. Hooray free money.
