TRD Decal on SR5 Haters?

mine came with TuRD stickers...I prefer the look w/o them, so I peeled them off.

Although the Sockmonkey guy does nice work if stickers are your thing.

 

Tore the TRD decals off my Sport , I think the truck looks better without them but to answer the OP's question I think the truck looks better without them

 

That's what I did with my '03 Tundra Offroad.
Fully debadged and de-stickered, then replaced the door and tailgate badges with the small TRD badges.

 

Go with what you like. The opinions on here vary greatly all the time but its your truck. If you are worried about someone saying something negative to you my advise is leave the forum immediately and keep the truck inside at all time!

Get a Sockmonkey set, slap them on and then peal them off when you wish.

On my second set now with my SR5. First set was a TRD Urban Assault and now I have a SR5 OffRoad set going on next week.

 

I've had mine on for about 5 years and it shows some wear but overall very please. In the process of creating something different now.

Just completed next my design. Keep in mind the the TRD & stars will have the distressed/weathered look as the sheild does.

 

You can have that same decal custom made to say SR5 instead of TRD. That's what I did (although i found out mines just an SR...)

 

Most people DGAF, but I think you might so that is why y ou asked. I'm sure there are other stickers out there that will meet your needs and not have trd.

I dont get the fake sticker thing. The average a person has no clue the different Tacoma trims so they arent impressed because they are clueless, but dudes that own Tacoma can sniff out posers real easy.

 

As an owner of a "Real" TRD OffRoad model I say hell no!

 

This thread got me thinking, I should do a "TRD SPORT, OFF ROAD EDITION". That'll really confuse the haters.

 

^^^ I had a conversation one time with a guy asking why I had an SR5 badge on my truck when it was a TRD. .....had to go over these exact things to explain why its not TRD and I didn't have the stickers either

To the OP, like many have stated, its your truck, you do what you please. Personally I'd do the same as others have stated, remove the stickers even if mine was TRD.

 

My apologies guys, I jumped in the wrong thread here. My truck actually is a TRD Sport. I just like having a sticker I thought of and one of a kind. *until it's duplicated of course
